Flower delivery in Strančice from a Prague florist

Strančice is about 26 km southeast of central Prague. The town of Říčany is around 6 km north of the municipality. In 2025, the municipality had approximately 2,900 residents.

The first written record of the municipality dates to 1404. The Prague–Benešov railway has run through Strančice since July 1871. After its restoration, the synagogue at the lower end of Revoluční Street occasionally serves as a concert and exhibition hall. ČKD founder Emil Kolben was born in Strančice, and the house where he was born stands on Revoluční Street; the Neo-Romanesque Chapel of St Anne with a spring was built in 1896.

Petra delivers flowers from Prague to Strančice as well. The sender can therefore arrange for the bouquet to reach the recipient directly in the municipality without bringing it there in person.

A bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home or at work. The municipal office can also serve as a handover point. Bouquets can also be handed over at Emil Kolben Primary School or the kindergarten.
